Pan Seared Steak with Truffle Mashed

Pan Seared Steak with Truffle Mashed Potatoes, Roasted Asparagus and Red Wine Sauce

This week I give you a whole new way to up the "Steaks". Oh yea baby. We are talking about Searing some steak in a pan with butter, using the drippings for a delicious sauce and then throwing a bit of elegance into a classic mash potato by adding a little truffle oil. Truffle oil can be a little expensive but you really don't need much. Just get the tiniest bottle you can find and it'll last you for months. This is probably one of the easiest dishes I make and at the same time keeps your significant other begging for your meat and potatoes, if you smell what I'm cooking. I have the ingredients listed below. Make sure you tune in for our Live Cook on the 15th of August at 7pm east on Facebook @sliceofrife and follow us on instagram #sliceofrife for incredible food photos and general nonsense performed by me. See you soon.

Love your show, you’re a hoot! Please feature Melanie and Dawn more often, they’re a great addition. Laura and I enjoy interacting with them at Terra Nostra.

I think you should create a meal membership where you travel to peoples houses and cook for dinner parties...pairing wines or other drinks with your meals.
